What Flavor Is Captain Black Gold?

In recent years, the Captain Black Gold pipe has been known as the Sail Deluxe Pipe Tobacco. This blend uses golden Cavendish cigarettes to reflect the bright colors of the sky. Tobacco typically used for this project is not too sweet but still mild. Made from Virginia and Cavendish tobacco leaves, Captain Black Pipe Tobacco has a silky flavor intensity that produces a medium to soft smoke that eliminates all the harshness found in many strong pipe tobaccos. A deliciously aromatic and silky smoke blend of air-dried tobacco, full-bodied burley and rich black Cavendish. This tobacco uses some of the best roasted Virginia tobaccos and steamed black Cavendish tobaccos, plus wonderful flavors of spiced cherries and silky vanilla for a wonderful flavor and aroma.

The Virginia/Black Cavendish blend uses the sweet influence of exotic fruit aromas and one of the richest vanilla flavors: Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. A blend of Virginia and Black Cavendish is complemented by the warm, smooth taste of one of Madagascar's most prized vanilla varieties. Royal is a blend of fragrant black and golden Cavendish with a sweet vanilla flavor. Fully Cavendish blend, sweet, smooth, pleasant flavor, pleasant ambient note and lack of pungency.

Zino Davidoffs Special Blend of the best tobaccos with a very delicate taste. The combination of notes of Golden Virginia and Burley with a hint of oriental tobaccos creates a soft, unobtrusive taste. This great combination results in a delicate blend with hints of smoke and sweetness. Bold yet smooth, this unique blend of black and gold tobaccos delights the eye and palate.

Using specially selected rich Black Cavendish tobaccos combined with soft Burley and Golden Virginia tobaccos, Captain Black has a light sweetness, perfect aroma and deep vanilla notes. Interestingly, the different flavors and blends contain a rich blend of Cavendish, Burley, and other staple tobaccos. Captain Blacks Sweet cigars are made by Captain Black Cigarillos.

The name itself comes from Herman G. Lane, a fan of the infamous Captain Blackbeard, ships and black Cavendish pipes.
